Answers. once you are 80+, the sauros in Temperantia give good xp, especially if you Chain attack them. After that, Reeking Douglas, a lvl 104 unique in Gormott is a good one to farm since its realitvely easy to get rare and legendary core crystals from him. Found a nice grinding enemy in the game. Not a spot, but more of multiple spots. Keep locating for enemies that are of the genus, Volff, scattered around the areas you visit. They have the ability to "call for help", which will activate when they have 1/3 of their total HP.

This question comes from someone who beat Xenoblade 2 and didn't find it to be that grindheavy, for comparison. So I just beat this boss fight with the Mechon that took JuJu. I was about 1 level over the boss without any grinding so far (level 18) and then immediately the mysterious face mechon comes in as a phase 2 at around level 25.

the best method is driver combos on unique monsters. Buy out all the deeds that give a 10% item discovery. PUt gold chips on all blades in your party. Grinding early would take longer then needed using only silver or normal cylinders. Also you will probably get bored after an hour and waste your money quickly. So no, it shouldn't ruin the game ... ing XB2 can be grindy, but not in a casual playthrough. If you're feeling weak, just do sidequests. The xp you get from side quests is optional. You can take it at any time if you're feeling a bit weak. Alternatively, if you want a challenge, you can not take it.
